No God, No Science, The concept called Nothing........

Some say it’s God, some say it’s luck/bad luck or some say it’s coincidence.
I say it’s nothing, it happens just like that. There are some incidents
which you can’t explain by using any algorithm or any theorem or may be its
actual reason yet to be deciphered. But there is no harm to assume
something; it could be God, luck or anything like that, which help you to
abet more clearly which brings the peace in your inquisitive mind. Everybody
does need a philosophy which is colored either by a misnomer called science
or a hypothetical entity called God to explain or understand all the matter
around them.  
In geometry we always need a reference structure to locate a point on the
geometrical plane.  Similarly we need a frame or a structure which could be
used to fit to all terrestrial matters. Without the invent of atom it would
not have been possible to explain the matter or without the invent of
Newton’s laws it would not have been possible to explain all the universal
forces. If you think deeply, you will find that science, though it’s
manifestation comply with the scientific conclusions, is basically an
assumption which is created in an ideal environment and which is most
plausible framework to explain all universal matter.  There may be many laws
or theorem which is empirically proved but somewhere down the line there is
an assumption. Seeing the shadow of an object, we take it granted that the
object exists. Similarly the atom or the Newton’s law is that shadow in
science.
 On the contrary if there were a real divine power, the earth could have been
a place close to heaven. The concept of God or divine power came from the
very human instinct called fear and it is being spread among people to curb
human desires and negative powers and to deter bad people from doing wrong.

Whatever we see or perceive or understand is the outer surface of bigger
object. Science help us to understand those superficial matter by some
framed law and theory but we are yet to penetrate the inner core of that big
object or it’s beyond the reach of our scientifically-thoughtful  brain.
There comes the role of an inexplicable truth or in theist’s view God when
we don’t have any explanation. When we ask a believer of science why
suddenly everything conforms to certain law or which power enables them to
function according to scientific principles. He will probably fumble to the
answer of this question but a believer in God will love to answer this
question; but that does not prove the existence of any supreme power; it's
just an alternative.
In my opinion none of the logic or framework: the invisible power, called
God, or the omniscient entity, called Science, is true.  Every single event
on this earth is a standalone incident or like a distinct event. You can
introduce a concept like God or Science to simplify the matter but the
actually it’s nothing it happened just like that. The plate is served to
you; it’s you who will decide whether to eat by spoon or by fingers.

Need vs Necessity

Every child born on this earth has a basic human right i.e. right to live happily. To survive on this earth every human does require access to few basic resources like food, shelter, clothes, medicine, etc. These are called necessity which you should have as basic proponents of life. Whereas there are certain things we desire to make our life better like AC room instead of a clay-tile covered roof top, Biriyani instead of rice-dal meal or 4 wheelers instead of two wheelers. These are called needs. We can still live without AC Room, Biriyani or 4 wheelers but we need these to make better off our life. 

There are so many reservations in our country for backward classes in order to pull them back into the mainstream or to eradicate the discrimination in society.But the privilege is being given for generation after generation. If father gets a job with hefty salary why his son does need to be protected under same reservation facility. Is his salary not enough to shoulder the burden of his family? This is the reason why many general cast people are deprived of even a simple job to carry his own expenditure. In the process of protecting one group of people’s interest we are putting other people at Jeopardy. The wheel is turning rapidly, very soon the minor would be major and major would turn into minor, it’s not too far when general student will need a “quota” or “reservation” amidst dominant backward classes.

 We live in a county where around 50% people leave below poverty line we should think twice before we use any privilege. It has been almost 100 years since the reservation was coined but the problem of backwardness still seems to be prevailing dominantly. The problem lies not in the efficacy of the law rather in the implementation of the same. The economic condition of the Indian people should be improved irrespective of their religion, race, caste, sex and place of birth. Moreover more we talk about reservation or more we point out people based on their type, more we remind them about their class or more we divide people. We should first fill up the basic necessities of the people then we can think of their needs. All the people under various reservation policies should think before they opt to be under such policy about whether it’s their need or necessity. In this way many people under general category but with poor finacial condition may avail the prievelege instead.  So it’s our responsibility to draw a line between need and necessity.

(Part II) Love: Heart vs. Brain

It’s very hard to walk the self-promise as so many distractions are luring me. If someone eats from a decorated plate in front of a hungry man, he can’t resist himself from looking the man eating. Similarly what earlier appeared straightforward seems very difficult to me to hold back myself looking at or talking to her. My heart is giving a good fight to my brain. 

 I don’t believe in God but whoever or whatever way I got these eyes, I think there was a terrible mistake. As this pair of sense organs doesn’t get moist when I feel pain or whenever it requires doing so to abate the situation. Though this blunder is compensated by a muscled organ which beats with the cause to absorb all sorts of emotional surges but it’s hard to control its stimulation.

 Brain, the most critical and superior part of body, functions very logically and pragmatically. Brain may initiate the thought process but it always keeps its feet on the ground. It considers all aspects of a matter and gives realistic judgments. Whereas heart always flows with tide of passion or emotion whatsoever the end is. Even, knowing the writing on the wall, heart never slackens its grip on hope. People say if you listen to your heart, you are “emotional fool” but if you listen to your brain, you are “intelligent” and “practical”. It’s futile to raise the unanswered question “Who came first egg or chicken?” I mean who started first: Brain or Heart. Instead of solving this puzzle it’s better to decide whom to listen. My heart is insisting me to see her or talk to her but brain says: "Don’t hope, don’t talk, don’t even look; you know the reality. Or better forget her”.

 The script is already written I have no part in it, so sooner I understand this better it is for me to walk in reality.

Caution: This is truly imaginary; there is no reality in it.

Love: A Hope against Hope

Love; Once a wise man said “True love is like a ghost, nobody has seen it”. I call it Hope against hope. You don’t know whether you will get it or not but you hope that your hope will come true.

Who said love has to be successful or it should get a final shape or it should have a happy ending. Whatever final shape it gets, nobody including me take the proud to be on the side which has got no result.

All theists love God. They sacrifice their lives, live a austere life for only a single wish to see Him.
I don’t know whether I have made any sacrifice or not but somehow I am luckier than them. I got to see You everyday, I talked You, smelled You, even unknowingly I got Your touch…I don’t know how did I get such a strong intuition about you that I can percieve your every move closing my eyes or can smell your presence.

Knowing that you already have chosen your home and you will take someone else’s hand to set out for that home, I could not admit how much I……..
I still laugh at the letter lying between the pages of my diary, don’t know whether to keep it or throw it..May be I could not give you the proposal, but I took lot of pain to beg you “Your denial, Your silence”.

Less you talk, less I see in your deep eyes, more I able to suppress the breath of my “Hope against Hope”

West Bengal Politics: Evil vs. lesser evil.

People normally get a choice between a good and a bad thing or good and better. But it’s very unfortunate that some time we have no other alternatives but to choose a bad option. Similar situation is prevailing in West Bengal politics where two main parties in fray are equally responsible to spoil the political culture in West Bengal.
Why politicians have to be bad? Why people join politics when there is nothing to do? Why can’t we talk/debate on politics without being bracketed as a supporter? Politics, suppose to be an area to serve people directly and to earn high dignity for such a noble work, has become a dirty place where politicians like to throw mud at each other and the term Politics always come with adjectives like corruption, scam, rhetoric, allegation, counter-allegation, propaganda and so on. It will be wrong to say that that there is no good politician but they never rise above his party rather they always turn out to be a representative of party not that of the people.
We will be replacing goons of one political party with that of other party, but we are left with no option. This assembly election is, I believe, not a battle between two political ideologies or two political spectrums, it’s a conflict between our gloomy present and bright future.  So the onus remains on us. It’s not about choosing the right thing at the right moment rather choosing the better option apt to the situation.

The Berlin Wall was still intact, USSR was one big, big country, Dr Manmohan Singh was yet to “open” the Nehruvian economy.It seems while Time was having his toll on every individual on the face of this planet, he excused one man. Time stands frozen in front of Sachin Tendulkar. We have had champions, we have had legends, but we have never had another Sachin Tendulkar and we never will.”

” I am proud to be born in Sachin’s Era. I don’t know if  a human being could get a nomination in World’s wonders list. If it were so, Sachin certainly would have figured himself in 7 wonder list of World.I recall a movie, titled “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” (It would be rewritten as The Curious Case of  Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar )..Same miracle his happening with Sachin. More he ages more his form, cricketing skill  flourish. Now-a- days  a futile debate is going on whether sachin should get Bharat Ratna or not. Who the hell are we, will give reward to God of cricket ? Rather I believe there should be a Prize named “Sachin Award” which would be given to a cricketer performed well in his cricket career.”

Like the lower age limit, there ought to be an upper age limit for a Voter.



Children are born with minds like blank slates which, from the first minute, will be written or filled with positive and negative experiences from the surroundings. With the growing experience he structures his conviction or a doctrine which will form a base to support the edifice of his knowledge.

At earlier stage of life, human beings are prone to changes so also his belief as a belief is nothing but the generalization of a past knowledge/experience and past knowledge/experience and is bound to be replaced with a new one. In the early days of his life, whatever he or she perceives is not always what the truth is since it’s too early age to get a holistic view with his or her limited knowledge. With the growing age and the growing knowledge a man tries to find a common pattern and subsequently draws a comprehensive conclusion to set his firm beliefs.  

At the age of 18 a boy or girl becomes aware of his /her surroundings or he/she becomes circumspective about the incidents happening around him. So he or she develops the acumen to differentiate between right and wrong. Considering this the lower age of a voter is set to 18.

Unlike supporters, those who are not involved in active politics think comprehensively each time before they exercise their franchise. The fate of the politicians largely depends on those unpredictable voters and the politician remains focused to persuade those voters.

As the man ages his inquisitive nature gradually shrinks and so also his thoughtful-critical-analyzer brain slows down. He is no more perturbed what he used to be about the political happenings or the current situation. After certain age human beings are not susceptible to change; he has already built a wall around him with his so called bricks of knowledge which he has gained from the moment of life. He feels comfortable to stay within this familiar barrier with all his fixation, knowledge or experience. At this period of life it’s not incorrect to say that his decision or judgment about the politics is not very comprehensive as his decision is either from an old predilection or very much situational. So in politics this kind of voters should not be the decisive factors where each vote counts.

Like other fields where opinion, decision, knowledge, philosophy matter to steer the wheel of progress, an upper age limit should be an essential criterion for voters too.
